However, often there are inside forces and outside forces that hinder nurturing our soul and this is what I strive to support my clients with. I understand the healing process requires a leap of faith and that taking the necessary steps can be dialectically exciting and daunting. This is why I strive to embrace my clients with curiosity, empathy, and authenticity while also challenging them to take their next steps towards meaningful change.

My therapeutic approach focuses on healing the whole self through utilizing strategies grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I hold experience providing services in both residential and outpatient settings, which supports my insights in helping my clients discover what they may need.

Through my experiences I have had the privilege to walk alongside individuals who battle severe eating disorders as well as obsessive-compulsive disorder. Additional client populations that I have experience with include individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and low self-esteem. Life is a journey, and I am both committed and honored to walk alongside my clients through the joys of their lives and the struggles. Lizzy Malueg, MS, LPC

You feel a sense of urgency to start working through the challenges life is throwing your way; wondering the best way to go about this. This is where we work together to identify what is causing these concerns to continue occurring, the underlying meaning, and develop a newfound perspective on your life. Those who choose to attend therapy show a strength by allowing yourself to be vulnerable and having awareness of change needed to happen. This is why I strive to be empathic, genuine, and create a welcoming environment for all.

I believe in using a collaborative and strength-based approach to therapy, empowering you to build resilience and make lasting changes in your life. I utilize evidenced-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, along with other therapy techniques to best serve you.

I have been fortunate to have the experience of working in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. I have helped my clients through battling a wide range of mental health struggles and I have seen them flourish.
